Why am I constantly touching on ancient "gods" Part 1

A few months ago I made a post in which i dissected a video by Beyonce and Jay Z titled Ape S*it.

I figured out that a few of you might have been confused as to why I was talking about the gods of ancient Egypt and the Babylonian Mystery school systems. One important thing to always understand when you are reading the Book is that "there is nothing new under the sun" (Ecclesiastes 1:9).

Societies may evolve and "progress" but some tenets and themes that govern the societies will always remain the same. The theme that has stood  the test of time all the way from ancient times to the present day is the theme of Idolatry.

The first time we see the emphasis placed by the Most High on this issue is in the book of Exodus Chapter 20. When Moses was giving the ten commandments to the Israelites, the Most High makes a very important declaration. In Exodus 20:2&3 the Most High reminds the Israelites that he has brought them out of the house of bondage (referring to Egypt) and that they should have no other gods before him.
Heru, an ancient Egyptian god.

Then in verses 5 and 6 the Israelites are forbidden from making any graven images or likeness of anything that is in heaven, on earth or beneath the earth. Furthermore, in verse 6 the Israelites are commanded not to bow down or serve other gods. The Most High informs them that the reason they should refrain from idol worshipping  is because he is a jealous God "visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me".

Firstly, the Israelites were a specific group of chosen people (not the ones you have been told about) and to get a solid idea of this you just have to look at the curses that were to be placed on the for disobeying the Most High (Deuteronomy 28: 15-68). Adherence to the gods of those times and practices of the gods of ancient times was one of the reasons why the 12 tribes of Israelites were subjected to the curses that they were warned of.

Secondly, the Most High made it clear to the Israelites that he would visit the iniquity of their fathers into the third and fourth generation if they decided to adhere to other gods. What this means is that the descendants of the Israelites are still subjected to the curses that were placed on  their ancestors in Modern day as well. One can then begin to see that this  commandment that was filled with serious repercussions.

Which brings me to the entertainment industry. One thing you need to understand is that Satan, the adversary, Daystar or whatever you may call him,  is interested in having influence over society. That is the role given to him by the Most High. Remember the story of Job? When the adversary told the Most High that Job was  going to curse the Most High if he took away all the riches and blessings he had, The Most High had to give the adversary permission to take away all that Job had without laying a finger on Job. This story in itself indicates that the adversary's  powers are limited therefore he has to be creative enough to distract followers of The Most High. As the popular saying goes; "life imitates art", it does take a rocket scientist to figure out that artistic expression is one of the easiest ways to divert the followers of The Most High from following.

This is why the gods of ancient Egypt and are frequently featured in modern mainstream music.
